Waste Services During Hot Weather

To keep drivers safe in the heat, Republic Services will begin collection 1 hour early on days where the temperature is forecast to be 95° or above. Republic Services reminds customers to put their waste, recycling and yard debris carts out the night before their scheduled pickup day.

Monroe Arts Center Cooling Station

The Monroe Arts Center at 175 South 5th Street will be available from 11 am to 4 pm, Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31 to cool down from the record heat. If you are experiencing heat related medical issues, please call 911.
