Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Proclamation
Mayor Dan Sheets signed a proclamation designating Monday, January 17, 2022 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with these remarks:
“Dr. Martin Luther King’s words and actions are as pertinent today as they were during his lifetime and it is incumbent upon us all to carry forward our promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all exemplified by Dr. King, and by treating everyone with the same great measure of courtesy, dignity, and respect.”
