Help Name the Festival!
The Monroe Festival Subcommittee is seeking community input on renaming the current festival. In 2019, the festival was called Vino, Vintage & Victory Festival, then in 2020 the name was changed to Monroe Festival. Today, the 2021 festival subcommittee is looking at options to better market the festival with a new name. Take the Poll!
PUBLIC HEARING: Amending City’s Development Code & Comprehensive Plan
The Monroe City Council will be conducting a public hearing on Monday, November 22, 2021, for the purpose of accepting any and all public comment prior to deliberating and deciding to adopt the amendments pertaining to the transportation elements in both the City’s Development Code and Chapter 12 – Transportation of the City’s 2020 Comprehensive Plan.

November 3rd: Corp of Engineers to Host Long Tom River Dam Modification Info Session
The City of Monroe and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians have entered an agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) to study the feasibility of improving fish passage near the Monroe drop structure on the Long Tom River.
Public participation and feedback are important, and the Corps and its partners will seek input during an info session Nov. 3, 4-5 p.m.
