WHAT: A coalition of Mid-Valley communities led by the City of Corvallis is pursuing a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to fund brownfields assessment work. This grant will give the entire region an opportunity to take a fresh look at vacant and underutilized properties in the area. This is an important first step toward evaluating reuse and redevelopment opportunities for these properties.

IMPORTANT – Planned Power Outage for the Monroe Area
WHEN: Thursday, October 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
There will be a planned power interruption scheduled for Thursday, October 26th beginning at 12:00 p.m. lasting until 1:00 p.m. for approximately 1 hour. The outage will affect the area around Monroe.
This outage is necessary for Pacific Power to make upgrades to the power system to improve service reliability. Pacific Power crews will take all steps possible to minimize the length of the interruption, but some of the work can only be safely performed with the service de-energized.
As a precaution, please unplug any sensitive electronic equipment during the outage. If you have any questions please call Pacific Power anytime at 1-877-508-5088 and select option #5 to speak directly with a customer service representative.
