Changes in Trash Service During Week of Solar Eclipse
Due to expected heavy traffic for the Eclipse Monday, August 21st, trash collection trucks will not be operating on Monday, August 21st, and Republic offices will be closed. All services will be pushed one day back; this includes trash, recycle, food scraps and yard debris services. This means, if your service day is usually on Monday, this week it will be on Tuesday, if your service is normally on Tuesday, it will be on Wednesday and so on for the entire week, with Friday customers being serviced on Saturday. Summer Recycling Events

Pacific Power is warning its customers and the public of a phone scam targeting customers in the mid-Willamette areas where criminals posing as utility customer service agents are trying to get money and steal personal information.
