City Hall Closed Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day
In observance of Memorial Day, Monroe City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2018.
City Hall will reopen at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
Proposed Bailey Branch Connectivity Trail
On May 21st at 6 PM the Monroe City Council will conduct a public hearing to accept public input and consideration for the proposed Bailey Branch Connectivity Trail project which includes surface and aesthetic improvements to the 6th Street right-of-way (former Bailey Branch Railroad pathway) from Kelly St. to Alpine-Cutoff Rd. to create a multimodal, non-motorized trail. The hearing will be conducted at the regular council meeting, 6 PM at 658 Commercial Street, Monroe, Oregon.
The City of Monroe is Seeking a Full Time Administrative Office/Utility Billing Clerk
GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY: Serve as primary public representative for the municipal organization at City Hall front desk. Responsible for the sewer and water accounts, creation of new accounts, and calculation of monthly utility bills and municipal court; cash receipts; and provides a variety of routine clerical work. Provides support to the City Administrator and other duties as assigned.
